Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

A370 Main Road, Flax Bourton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use By Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 11 August 2025

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order was required because of highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on 11 August 2025, anticipated to be of five days. The road closure will be in effect for 24hrs a day.

The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

A370 Main Road, Flax Bourton – From the junction with Stancombe Lane to it’s junction with Station Road

Main Road, Long Ashton Bypass, Colliters Way, Bridgwater Road, Potters Hill, Bristol Road, Red Hill, Station Road, Church Road, Bypass, Stock Lane, Brinsea Road, High Street, Bristol Road, Rhodyate Hill, Main Road, West Town Road, Farleigh Road, and vice versa.
