Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Neighbourhood Plan was formally "made" by North Somerset Council at its meeting yesterday (July 23rd 2019). This is the final step in a very long process that began in June 2015. It means that the Plan will form part of the statutory development plan for Yatton, so any decisions about whether or not to grant planning permission in the village in the future must be made by taking the Plan into consideration.

Yatton Neighbourhood Development Plan passed its referendum 11th April 2019. There was a 22.7% turnout of the parish electorate with 92 % voting yes to the plan.
