VILLAGE MARKETS in YATTON and CLAVERHAM
Two village markets are held in the parish each month selling a good selection of local produce and handicrafts – one in Claverham and one in Yatton.
Local produce for sale includes eggs and meat, vegetables and fruit, cheese, homemade preserves and honey, and bread and cakes. A wide selection of plants and flowers in season is usually available, as well as handmade greetings cards and jewellery, plus hand-carved items made from local wood.
Both markets have a welcoming community feel and include indoor facilities for tea and coffee supplied by local residents and community groups.
The markets are held in their respective local village halls from 10-12 noon. Yatton Village Market is usually held on the second Saturday of each month and Claverham Village Market is on the third Saturday.
A new Repair Cafe was launched at Yatton Village Market on the 8th October 2022 from 10.00 am till 12 noon. There will be a number of volunteers willing to make repairs on electrical items, woodwork, furniture, clothes, soft furnishings and other general household items as well as lots of market stalls, please go along to the market and new repair cafe and support local producers and give items a new lease of life!! The cafe has proved to be very popular and has gone from strength to strength since its launch.

The ROCK
The Rock Cafe is open Saturdays during term time 9am-1pm. It is an open cafe, run by young people at Yatton Youth Club. Come on in for a bacon or sausage bap, cuppa, milkshake or cake, plus much more, all served by young people in our community, open to all, gluten free and vegan options available.

Yatton United Charities

The charity provides small grants for residents of Yatton and Claverham who find themselves in difficulties and hardship. The grants are usually allocated annually in August but can be made at other times as individual circumstances dictate. If there is a need, grants can be considered throughout the year.
