Face to Face Consultation Events

This week North Somerset Council launched their in-person information events for local people, businesses and community groups to find out more about two important North Somerset Council consultations around a possible new approach to black bin collections and proposed changes to parking charges.

Seven in-person events will be held at various locations around North Somerset throughout April, and we’re ticketing the events to help manage capacity at the different venues and make sure we can speak to as many people as possible.

The information events will be an opportunity to speak to members and senior officers about the proposals and ask questions. The conversations we have at these events will help us understand how these proposed changes might work for people.

  • Weston-super-Mare: Wednesday 3 April, 11am to 1.30pm, The Campus
  • Winscombe: Tuesday 9 April, 12pm to 2pm, location being finalised
  • Long Ashton: Thursday 11 April, 12pm to 2pm, Community Centre
  • Portishead: Thursday 18 April, 12pm to 2pm or 6pm to 8pm, Somerset Hall
  • Clevedon: Tuesday 23 April, 2.30pm to 4.30pm or 6pm to 8pm, Clevedon Library
  • Yatton: Thursday 25 April, 10am to 10.50am, 11am to 11.50am or 12pm to 1.30pm, Yatton Library
  • Nailsea: Tuesday 30 April, 12-2pm or 6-8pm, Nailsea, location being finalised
