NOTICE OF MAKING

North Somerset Council Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places - Yatton (Experimental) Order 2023
Ref: EXP-YATT-ETRO/DMKF/2023
Notice is hereby given that on the 17th August 2023, North Somerset Council made an experimental Order under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1948 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be, for a maximum period of 18 months, amend parking restrictions in Yatton. The extents of the amendments are described in the schedule to this Notice.
The order will come into operation on the 31st August 2023 and copies of this together with plan and a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the order may be inspected at the following locations: -

· Castlewood, Tickenham Road, Clevedon, BS21 6FW, during normal office hours
· Yatton Library, 48 High Street, Yatton, BS49 4HJ, during normal opening hours
Should you wish to make any observations on this Experimental Order continuing indefinitely (whether you support or object to the proposal), you should make them in writing at the address or email mentioned below quoting reference EXP-YATT-ETRO/DMKF/2023 by 5pm on the 16th February 2024. At that time any objections and comments received will be given consideration.
Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
