LENGTH OF RAISED TABLES AND SPEED
CUSHIONS ON NORTH END ROAD AND
HIGH STREET, YATTON
NOTICE is hereby given that North Somerset Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) in exercise of the powers conferred by section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter called 'the Act') and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with section 90C (1) of the Act and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter called 'the Regulations') and in accordance with section 90C (2) of the Act intends to install raised tables and speed cushions at the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The general effect of the notice will be to install a raised table at the following location on High Street, Yatton:
· Outside/near 157, High Street, Yatton (across the width of the carriageway) (Grid Reference: 342675:166044)
The general effect of the notice will be to install a raised table at the following location on North End Road, Yatton:
· Near Oxford Plasma Technology, North End Road, Yatton (across the width of the carriageway) (Grid Reference: 342426:166422)
The general effect of the notice will be to install speed cushions at the following location on North End Road, Yatton:
· Outside/near 22, North End Road, Yatton (either side of the carriageway) (Grid Reference: 342492:166334)

Should you wish to make any observations on this proposal (whether you support or object to the proposal) you should make them in writing to the Director of Place at the address below or at the email address below quoting reference YAT/RHSC/MH by 5pm on 28th June 2023.
Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
